Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and food safety standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and other culinary tools Assist in menu planning and food production to meet high-volume demands while maintaining quality standards Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and sanitizing procedures are followed consistently to uphold food safety regulations Serve customers promptly and courteously, providing excellent table service and addressing special dietary needs when necessary Support dietary department initiatives by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting with meal preparation for special diets Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces throughout shifts to ensure a safe and organized environment Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred; experience in dietary aide roles or dietary departments is a plus Demonstrated culinary skills including knife proficiency, grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with health standards Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure during high-volume production periods Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and catering is desirable but not mandatory A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional food and service experiences Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to culinary excellence!
