Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team at both of our Jefferson City locations. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both kitchen staff and guests, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests. Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards. Support food preparation as needed, including assembling dishes and garnishing plates. Operate the Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication with the kitchen. Help maintain an organized work environment by restocking supplies as necessary. Collaborate with team members to provide outstanding service during busy shifts, especially during banquets or large events. Requirements Previous experience in customer service or food service is preferred. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Culinary experience or background in food preparation is advantageous but not required.
