Responsibilities Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and welcoming dining area. Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guest tables accurately and promptly, ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed. Assist servers by bussing dishes, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs with friendly, in-person customer service. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing tables and chairs in accordance with food safety standards. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes of supplies, or equipment using safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or setup tasks when needed, adhering to food safety guidelines. Communicate effectively with team members using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth order flow and guest satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential. Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper cleaning procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus; hotel or banquet experience is advantageous. Familiarity with hospitality or culinary environments enhances your ability to support guest services effectively.
