As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in welcoming guests, taking orders, and ensuring that every aspect of their visit meets our high standards of quality. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations using OpenTable and assist with seating arrangements. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including Aloha POS. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience. Upsell menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining quality standards. Assist with food preparation as needed to support kitchen operations. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service. Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow. Requirements Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to perform basic math calculations for order processing and payments. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. A willingness to learn about menu items and food preparation techniques.
