Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience Operate POS system (Toast) to process transactions accurately and efficiently Manage food orders using food service customer order management systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Serve food promptly from the kitchen to guests, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, including basic assembly or garnishing Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food safety management practices are followed Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food service activities Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to enhance sales opportunities Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food industry knowledge Proficiency with POS systems Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant or café setting Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with food preparation when necessary Experience in retail sales transactions and upselling techniques to increase sales revenue Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth service flow Previous experience in grocery store or retail environments is a plus for understanding diverse customer needs Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by combining your passion for food service with your energetic approach!
