Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to ensure a welcoming atmosphere Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Assist in food preparation, plating, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times Serve drinks including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and flair Handle cash transactions efficiently while processing sales using POS systems and managing sales transactions seamlessly Clear tables promptly through bussing and assist with sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards in dining areas Support host/hostess duties by managing reservations via OpenTable, seating guests efficiently, and managing waitlists Upsell menu items including specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings and food industry trends to assist guests effectively Collaborate with team members across kitchen and service areas to ensure smooth operations during busy hours Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for processing transactions accurately Experience in food service roles including serving, bartending, or hosting in fine dining or casual settings Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Knowledge of beverage service including cocktail mixing, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during high-volume periods Food handling certification and understanding of sanitation practices to ensure food safety compliance Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips Hospitality experience in restaurants or food industry environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
