Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service from seating to final farewells Take and process food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage cash transactions, process payments accurately, and handle cash handling responsibilities with integrity Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas including dining spaces, bar, kitchen stations, and service stations Assist with food preparation, food handling, and bussing tables to ensure smooth operations during busy hours Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry and sales processing Strong knowledge of cocktail mixing, spirits, wine varieties, and beverage service techniques Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle inquiries professionally Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing sales reports Food safety certification and knowledge of sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings including nightclubs or busy restaurants Experience with OpenTable reservations system is advantageous but not required Knowledge of food preparation, food handling procedures, and hospitality standards Join us at Shaggy's where your energy fuels unforgettable guest experiences!
