Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest experiences by delivering prompt, courteous, and professional service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong focus on customer satisfaction, food safety, and efficient service, with opportunities to develop skills in fine dining and hospitality. Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus, offering recommendations when appropriate Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, Toast or OpenTable. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS or cashiering systems Engage with guests to foster positive relations and address any concerns or special requests Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or other duties as needed Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments; fine dining experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and cash handling Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures Basic math skills for billing accuracy and cash handling Experience in food industry roles such as serving, bussing, host/hostess, or nightclub service is advantageous Ability to work effectively in a team environment within a fast-paced setting Join our team to deliver memorable dining experiences while honing your skills in hospitality and customer relations.
