Duties Operate cash registers and POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments while maintaining precise cash register operations and balancing tills at shift end Greet customers warmly, take food orders, and serve with enthusiasm to ensure a positive dining experience Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment to support kitchen staff Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service Support food service operations by bussing tables, managing customer orders, and ensuring timely delivery of food items Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food industry knowledge Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to process cash transactions accurately Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with light food preparation when necessary This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced retail and food service environment.
