In this energetic role, you will support the front-of-house team by ensuring the dining area remains clean, organized, and inviting, while efficiently delivering food and beverages to guests. Duties Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Assist servers by bussing tables, removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware with care. Deliver food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Support food safety protocols by handling food properly during delivery and maintaining cleanliness in service areas. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing as needed. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting for tray setups or moving supplies while practicing safe lifting techniques. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs in person. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including bussing or food running roles. Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when needed. Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Experience with food preparation, serving, or banquet settings is a plus.
