Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and beverages promptly, including wine and spirits, with knowledge of proper presentation and serving techniques Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales recording and cash handling Upsell menu items such as appetizers, desserts, or specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a welcoming environment for all patrons Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining settings preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order processing and sales transactions Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle diverse needs gracefully Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods without compromising service quality Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service standards Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, processing payments, and handling cash transactions Familiarity with food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest engagement Experience in bussing tables, hosting/hostess duties, or cashiering is a plus but not required Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to deliver exceptional guest experiences!
