Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated PM Server to join our dynamic hospitality team! As a Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring smooth guest flow and comfort from arrival to departure Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality in both casual and fine dining environments Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions efficiently while handling cash handling responsibilities responsibly Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety guidelines Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, cocktails, and menu items to elevate the guest experience Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills Assist with host/hostess duties when needed, including managing reservations via OpenTable or similar systems Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to foster positive relationships Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong foundation in hospitality principles Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing Culinary experience or food industry background that supports menu understanding and customer recommendations Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Beverage expertise including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, and drink service techniques Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing bills seamlessly Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices in food handling environments Nightclub or fine dining experience preferred for roles involving high-volume or upscale service settings Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while ensuring guest satisfaction Effective communication skills for working collaboratively with team members and interacting positively with guests Join us in creating memorable dining experiences where energy meets excellence!
