Cashier & Ice Cream Associate Join the Team at Bowers Market - Victor! Bowers Market in Victor is looking for a friendly, dependable Cashier & Ice Cream Associate to help create a fun and welcoming experience for every customer. Whether you're ringing up groceries, scooping ice cream, preparing specialty treats, or helping guests find what they need, you'll play an important role in making each visit memorable. If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and bringing a smile to someone's day, we'd love to have you on our team! What You'll Do Greet every customer with friendly, hometown service. Accurately process purchases using our Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit/debit cards, EBT, and other forms of payment. Scoop ice cream and prepare cones, cups, shakes, sundaes, and other frozen treats. Keep the ice cream counter clean, stocked, and inviting throughout the day. Assist customers with menu questions and product recommendations. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays while rotating merchandise and checking expiration dates. Prepare fresh coffee and keep beverage stations clean and stocked. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store, including completing daily cleaning and side work. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines. Work as a team to provide fast, friendly service during busy periods. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills. Friendly, outgoing personality with a willingness to engage with customers of all ages. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds. Previous cashier, food service, or retail experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
