Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with serving food and drinks. Take accurate food and beverage orders utilizing the Toast POS systems ensuring efficient processing. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through friendly, proactive suggestions. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety protocols. Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes, managing cleanliness, and resetting tables for new guests with attention to detail. Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed. Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service in a fast-paced environment. Uphold sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Support team members during shifts by managing cash handling responsibilities accurately and performing basic math calculations for transactions. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with the Toast POS system that enhances efficiency in order processing and sales tracking. Experience with guest services roles like barista/host/hostess or bartender is advantageous for creating welcoming atmospheres. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices ensures compliance with health regulations. Strong time management skills are essential to handle multiple tables or tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality service. Culinary experience or kitchen support background can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes.
