Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of guest preferences Serve food and beverages promptly, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks, demonstrating extensive beverage service knowledge Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and efficiently Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed to ensure smooth operations Demonstrate excellent guest relations by providing attentive service, anticipating needs, and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in upscale or fine dining settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Extensive beverage knowledge including spirits, wine, cocktails, and beverage pairing techniques Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining genuine guest engagement Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving, host/hostess, or cashiering preferred but not mandatory Join us if you're passionate about delivering top-tier service in a vibrant upscale environment!
