Job Description
Banquet Server - Beaufort Hotel The Beaufort Hotel is currently seeking Banquet Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. Our events provide an exciting opportunity to showcase the hotel through weddings, receptions, meetings, trainings, reunions, and special events held throughout the property. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for hospitality, enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in creating memorable guest experiences through excellent service and attention to detail. Responsibilities Provide friendly and professional guest service throughout all events Greet guests and assist with accommodating guest needs during functions Deliver food and beverages efficiently and accurately during service Assist with buffet, plated, and reception-style meal service Communicate with guests regarding menu items and event service Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests Assist with event setup, execution, breakdown, and cleanup Maintain clean and organized service areas throughout events Complete side work and assist with preparation for upcoming events Work closely with fellow banquet associates and management to ensure smooth event operations Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times Qualifications Previous banquet, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and guest service skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or event materials as needed Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and event-based shifts Team-oriented mindset and dependable attendance Compensation $2.15 per hour plus gratuities Benefits for Part-Time Associates Dental and vision insurance options Life insurance and short/long-term disability options 401(k) with company match Hotel and dining discounts Training and career growth opportunities Part-time associates are not eligible for medical insurance, paid time off, or tuition assistance benefits.
