Duties Assist servers by clearing tables, bussing dishes, and resetting for new guests to maintain a clean dining area. Support food running duties by delivering orders from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately. Help with food preparation tasks such as setting up stations, organizing supplies, and handling food safely following food safety standards. Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas. Handle manual lifting of heavy trays, boxes, or supplies using safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Support the kitchen team with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required. Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about the menu, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Assist with banquet or special event setups to ensure all guest needs are met seamlessly. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations and uphold high standards of hospitality. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and basic kitchen activities is advantageous. Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances your ability to support efficient service. Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and guest interactions. Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial but is not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to serve are most important!
