Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and communication. Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Uphold high standards of hospitality, guest relations, and fine dining service. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
