Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Lead Server/Trainer to elevate our hospitality team to new heights! In this pivotal role, you will lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, oversee daily restaurant operations, and train new team members to uphold our high standards. Your passion for food, beverage service, and team development will drive a lively, efficient, and welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back. Duties Lead and motivate the serving team to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced environment. Conduct comprehensive staff training on food preparation, POS systems (including Aloha POS and Micros POS), food handling, and customer service protocols. Oversee daily shift management, ensuring smooth operations from food prep to cash handling and inventory control. Supervise food production, kitchen management, and ensure adherence to food safety standards across all service areas. Manage inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and monitor food quality to maintain high standards of food presentation and taste. Train new hires on restaurant management procedures, including budgeting, food safety, hospitality management, and team management. Support management in supervising staff performance, conducting interviews, and implementing training & development programs. Handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction while maintaining a lively and positive atmosphere. Assist with catering events, banquet services, or special functions as needed to showcase versatility in food service management. Experience Proven experience in a quick service & fast food restaurant or casual dining environment with a focus on food preparation and customer service. Demonstrated supervising experience with team management responsibilities in a hospitality or restaurant setting. Strong background in restaurant management including shift management, inventory control, cash handling, and food safety compliance. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Prior experience in fine dining or hotel food service environments is a plus. Knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen management, and food production processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster a team-oriented atmosphere.
