We provide members and their guests with an elevated yet welcoming club experience, including daily dining, special events, private parties, business meetings, holiday celebrations, wine dinners, and other member programming. We are seeking professional, personable, and service-oriented Part-Time Waitstaff to join our hospitality team. Position Summary The ideal candidate enjoys providing attentive, personalized service and understands that working in a private membership club is about more than serving food and beverages—it is about building relationships with members, anticipating needs, remembering preferences, and helping create an exceptional experience every time a member or guest visits the Club. Waitstaff will provide food and beverage service for regular member dining as well as private events, meetings, receptions, dinners, and Club-sponsored events. Responsibilities Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to Club members and their guests. Greet members and guests promptly and courteously. Become familiar with Club members and provide personalized service whenever possible. Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter orders into the Club's POS system. Demonstrate knowledge of menus, daily specials, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage offerings. Serve food, wine, cocktails, and other beverages according to Club service standards. Properly set tables for casual dining, formal dining, private parties, meetings, wine dinners, and special events. Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, linens, china, glassware, flatware, buffet stations, and other event needs. Maintain dining rooms, private rooms, and service areas in a clean, polished, and organized condition. Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining an elevated dining atmosphere. Monitor tables throughout service and anticipate member and guest needs. Communicate dietary restrictions, allergies, and special requests accurately to the culinary team. Assist with receptions, cocktail parties, buffets, plated dinners, holiday events, and other Club functions. Follow responsible alcohol service procedures and all applicable ABC regulations. Work closely with culinary, bar, management, and event staff to ensure seamless service. Complete opening, closing, and side-work responsibilities. Handle Club property, china, glassware, silverware, linens, and equipment with care. Maintain member confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism and discretion at all times. Perform other hospitality-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Preferred candidates will have:

Previous restaurant, country club, private club, hotel, catering, banquet, or event-service experience. A genuine interest in hospitality and providing exceptional guest service. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A polished, professional, and friendly demeanor. Ability to learn members' names, preferences, and service expectations. Ability to work calmly and professionally in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Basic knowledge of food, wine, beer, cocktails, and proper dining service preferred. Experience with formal dining, banquets, or catered events is a plus. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift and carry trays, dishes, and event supplies. Availability for a flexible schedule that may include lunches, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience, plus applicable gratuities/service compensation.
