Help the team during rush periods instead of waiting to be asked. Immediately notify a manager about spills, broken glass, safety concerns, or guest issues. Expectations The Busser must stay active and attentive throughout the shift. When there are no tables to clear, they should look for other tasks that need attention, including cleaning, restocking, sweeping, resetting tables, or assisting another team member. Phones are not permitted during working time except during an approved break or emergency. Employees must remain at work until their scheduled shift is complete unless a manager approves leaving early. What Success Looks Like Tables are cleared and reset quickly, the dining room stays clean throughout the shift, servers receive support before they have to ask for it, and guests consistently see a clean and organized restaurant. The Busser is an important part of keeping service fast, clean, and efficient.
