THIS IS A FLOATER POSITION MEANING ONE DAY YOU MAY BE ON PHONE & THE NEXT YOU MAY BE A SERVER ON THE FLOOR.

Pay starts at 2.50 hr + Tip! We are located down the road from the Maggie Valley Fairgrounds & anticipate another busy year with all of the guests visiting from out of state. So grab your apron and a book because there will be plenty of orders to take! Job Overview As a Server & Togo - floater, you will be the welcoming face and attentive service provider that creates memorable experiences for our guests. This dynamic role combines the art of hospitality with efficient food and beverage service, ensuring every guest feels valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help foster a lively, upscale atmosphere that celebrates culinary excellence and exceptional guest relations. Whether taking orders, managing reservations, or assisting in food service, your enthusiasm will drive our guests' satisfaction and loyalty. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations and seat guests promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS or Micro POS systems, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Provide attentive table service, including serving food and drinks, bussing tables efficiently, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area. Assist in food preparation and handling when needed, maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Manage guest inquiries professionally, resolve concerns promptly, and foster positive guest relations to promote repeat business. Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as required, ensuring timely delivery of orders during busy hours. Maintain a clean, organized work environment by following sanitation protocols and supporting overall restaurant cleanliness. Take phone orders and online slice / fox ordering orders. Skills Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, with a strong background in restaurant or nightclub environments preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering functions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tables efficiently. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction. Previous host/hostess experience is advantageous; familiarity with bussing and basic food industry operations is a plus.
