The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Experience with food and beverage service, POS systems, and a strong knowledge of food safety standards are essential. This role offers opportunities to develop hospitality skills and advance within our organization. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Ensure proper sanitation and food safety protocols are followed during food handling and service. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables for new guests. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and wine or beverage pairings. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in fine dining or casual settings. Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales performance. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy. Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or food preparation is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability is preferred.
