In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, expert beverage and food knowledge, and efficient order management. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash safely and responsibly Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling, beverage service areas, and dining spaces Assist with food preparation, serving, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other transaction processing tools Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to upsell menu items confidently through suggestive selling techniques Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service standards Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation practices in food industry settings Previous experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess duties is highly desirable Join us to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences.
