Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression Take accurate breakfast orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication of special requests and dietary needs Serve food and beverages efficiently, including coffee, cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or breakfast enhancements to maximize sales opportunities Process cash and credit transactions accurately while handling POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS with precision Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and food safety protocols Provide excellent guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions about menu items like wine knowledge or cocktail options, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub experience Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Demonstrated ability in beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy breakfast hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards in the food industry is preferred Prior experience in customer service roles like host/hostess or bussing enhances your ability to connect with guests and provide seamless service Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm meets your expertise!
