Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food delivery during busy periods Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations professionally Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation and presentation standards Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes accurately Previous experience as a host/hostess or server in a hospitality setting is advantageous Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through energetic service and culinary excellence.
