Job Description

Job Overview The Breakfast Server is responsible for providing excellent guest service during the breakfast shift by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering the Hilton hospitality standard. Responsibilities Greet all guests warmly and with a smile as they arrive for breakfast. Explain menu offerings and answer guest questions about ingredients or dietary needs. Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly. Deliver orders efficiently and ensure all guests receive their meals as requested. Monitor tables, refilling drinks and attending to guests' needs throughout their meal. Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently for the next guests. Assist in setting up and breaking down the breakfast area before and after the shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and equipment. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with hotel and local regulations. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, hosts, and other servers to ensure smooth operation. Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and escalate to management if necessary. Assist with room service or banquet duties as needed. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Familiarity with Toast POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is beneficial for understanding menu items better. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous food and beverage service experience preferred but not required (on-the-job training may be provided).
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Basic math skills for handling payments (if applicable).
Physical Requirements:
Able to stand or walk for extended periods. Able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
Working Conditions:
Early morning shifts required (typically between 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM). Weekends Only.
Base Pay:
$12.00 - $13.00 per hour
