Our company is looking for a Bistro Server to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing excellent services to our internal and external guests. The Bistro is a small, fast-casual restaurant, and we are looking for an Attendant to help with the food and beverage preparation on the AM shift. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working team player who wants to play a role in bringing customers to the Courtyard byMarriott Job Description:
Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system; Prepare food and beverages according to recipes, procedures, and customer specifications Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner; Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials; Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner; Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times; Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations; Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times. Clean and maintain service areas and kitchen equipment.Requirements:
Must be caring, compassionate and enjoys working with people; Must have a positive outlook and good problem-solving skills; Must maintain excellent attendance; Must be a team player; Maintains neat, professional appearance; Must have reliable transportation. Excellent communication and people skills Must be able to multitask well.Bonus Points:
Food Handlers Certificate. Prior Bistro experience working in a fast-paced environment. Cash register experience or similar role is preferred. Marriott training. Open to cross train on PM Shift is available.Compensation:
- 14.00/hr. plus Tips - Full-time (5 days/week) with no schedule limitations.
- Paid training provided .
Work Schedule:
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts when business demands.
- Work requires standing for extended periods
- Flexibility is a must - hospitality never sleeps!
