Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Waitstaff/Hostess to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Your energy, organization, and excellent communication skills will ensure smooth seating arrangements, attentive service, and memorable guest interactions. Responsibilities Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, providing a warm welcome upon arrival Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Assist guests with seating preferences, answer questions about the menu, and provide recommendations when needed Take accurate orders from guests, relay them promptly to kitchen staff, and ensure timely service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing clear information and assistance Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest experiences from seating to departure Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to foster positive reviews and repeat visits Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience or food service background preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key! Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving procedures is advantageous Organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow smoothly Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Hospitality or hotel experience is beneficial but not mandatory; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential Join our team where your friendly demeanor and organizational talents will shine!
