Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items, wine pairings, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Manage multiple tables effectively by prioritizing tasks, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and attending to guest needs throughout their dining experience Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and provide correct change Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor; ability to build guest rapport quickly Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards; experience with food handling and food preparation preferred Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous Strong communication skills combined with a proactive attitude towards guest relations and team collaboration Embrace this opportunity to bring your passion for hospitality to life!
