The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality, as you will be the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events, ensuring all food service areas are clean and organized. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to effectively communicate with guests. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, contributing to overall team efficiency. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred, but not required. Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
