Server position Rx Chicken & Oysters is looking for an experienced, dependable server to join our team. This position is best suited for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, takes pride in learning and understands that excellent service depends on teamwork. What we're looking for: At least two years of full-service restaurant experience preferred Strong hospitality instincts and a warm, professional demeanor Dependability, punctuality and consistent attention to detail Ability to manage a busy section without sacrificing guest care Interest in learning about North Carolina seafood, oysters, farmers, wine and cocktails Clear communication with guests, coworkers and management Willingness to complete opening, closing and side-work responsibilities A team-first attitude, including helping outside your section when needed Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and Sunday brunch Responsibilities include: Providing knowledgeable, attentive and efficient service Learning a frequently changing food and beverage menu Explaining oyster varieties, seafood sourcing and preparation methods Guiding guests through wine, cocktail and food selections Accurately entering orders and handling payments Communicating allergies and dietary restrictions carefully Maintaining clean, organized tables and service areas Completing assigned side work thoroughly Working collaboratively with the kitchen, bar, hosts and support staff What we offer: A locally owned restaurant with a distinctive identity and loyal following The opportunity to learn directly about oyster farming, commercial fishing and North Carolina ingredients A serious food and beverage program without corporate scripts An experienced team with clear standards Employee dining benefits A workplace that values reliability, accountability, respect and genuine hospitality To apply, please submit your résumé along with a short note explaining why you're interested in working at Rx Chicken & Oysters.
