Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing. Prepare and serve food items efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to support food preparation activities. Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain a clean workspace by bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and adhering to sanitation protocols throughout your shift. Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and manage retail sales transactions with precision. Skills Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math, and order calculations. Knowledge of food handling, safety management, sanitation standards, and operating kitchen equipment. Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, and general food industry practices is highly valued.
