Job Overview We're on the lookout for friendly, energetic Servers to join our dynamic team at a popular sports bar and grill. As a Server, you'll be the face of the restaurant, creating memorable experiences for our guests through attentive service and a positive attitude. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in lively environments, enjoy engaging with people, and have a passion for food and beverage service. You'll be responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit. Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha or Micros POS. Serve food, drinks, and cocktails with professionalism, including spirits and wine knowledge. Process cash and credit transactions smoothly while handling cash handling and cashiering duties responsibly. Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or appetizers to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and food handling. Assist with opening or closing procedures, including setup of tables via OpenTable or similar reservation systems. Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality. Knowledge of beverage service, cocktail preparation, spirits, wine, and food safety practices. Ability to multitask efficiently while managing time effectively during busy hours. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately. Experience with food preparation, sanitation standards, and food handling regulations.
