Part Time Server 43 Pleasant Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801 From $8 an hour - Part-time From $8 an hour - Part-time Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Server (currently offering 2-3 shifts with opportunities for pick ups!) and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this role, you will engage with guests, provide attentive service, and ensure every visit is memorable. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills, and manage cashiering duties with integrity Experience Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest relations Familiarity with POS systems such as Digital Dining is a plus Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols in the food industry Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles that showcase strong interpersonal skills and professionalism Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences.
