Job Description
Server About Us Rockaway River Country Club is a premier private country club committed to providing exceptional dining experiences and personalized service to our members and their guests. We are seeking friendly, professional, and service-oriented individuals to join our Food & Beverage team. Position Summary As a Server, you will provide outstanding food and beverage service in our dining rooms, outdoor patios, banquet facilities, and special events. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality, and is committed to creating memorable experiences for every member and guest. Responsibilities Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Serve food and beverages according to club standards. Develop familiarity with members' names and preferences to provide personalized service. Maintain knowledge of menus, daily specials, wines, beers, and cocktails. Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout service. Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service. Prepare dining areas before service and complete side work after service. Assist with banquets, golf outings, weddings, and club events as needed. Maintain cleanliness and comply with all health and safety regulations. Handle member requests and concerns professionally and promptly. Qualifications Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Team player with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.
