Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment year round. We are closed until the beginning of February but are eager to add to our team! The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and with exceptional service. This promotion requires a passion for hospitality and an eagerness to contribute to a positive dining experience. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are complete before they leave the kitchen. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed. Ensure that all food items are presented according to restaurant standards before serving to guests. Provide excellent customer service by being attentive, friendly, and responsive to guest needs. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
