Duties Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas using proper manual handling and heavy lifting techniques. Ensure food is delivered promptly, accurately, and in pristine condition to guest tables or designated service stations. Assist with clearing tables by bussing dishes, glassware, and utensils efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment. Support the kitchen team with food running duties, including delivering prepared dishes and assisting with food preparation when needed. Maintain cleanliness by regularly cleaning work areas, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and service flow. Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality is highly preferred. Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for efficient order processing. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests. Demonstrated ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts.
