Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently. Provide detailed menu guidance, including wine knowledge and cocktail experience, to enhance guest choices and upselling opportunities. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change. Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and dining areas through bussing and sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations. Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, handle special requests professionally, and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation enhances your ability to upsell effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately; food handling and sanitation certifications are desirable. Experience in bussing, host/hostess duties, cashiering or food preparation can be beneficial in supporting team efforts across restaurant operations.
