Food Runner Shackamaxon Country Club | Scotch Plains, NJ Shackamaxon Country Club is seeking an energetic and dependable Food Runner to join our Food & Beverage team. The Food Runner plays an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests by ensuring food is delivered from the kitchen to the correct tables quickly, accurately, and with a high level of service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Deliver food orders from the kitchen to members and guests in a timely and professional manner. Confirm orders are complete, accurate, and properly presented before leaving the kitchen. Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth service. Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables as needed. Ensure appropriate condiments, utensils, and accompaniments are delivered with each order. Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service and expo areas. Respond promptly and courteously to member and guest requests. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and club service standards. Assist the Food & Beverage team with additional duties during busy periods, events, and special functions. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with members, guests, and fellow team members. Qualifications Previous restaurant, country club, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Friendly, professional, and service-oriented demeanor. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry trays and food items. Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay:

$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
