Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and friendly Front Desk Pizza Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest service while efficiently managing food and beverage orders. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest has a memorable dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for food, hospitality, and sales in a lively environment that values teamwork and professionalism. Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive and assist with seating arrangements using reservation systems like OpenTable or similar platforms. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems. ALDELO experience is great. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Serve pizzas, drinks, and other menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation. Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, and providing correct change. Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Support host/hostess duties when needed by managing waitlists and coordinating seating flow during busy hours. Experience Previous restaurant experience is preferred, especially in food service or hospitality roles such as serving or hosting. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus, demonstrating the ability to handle high-volume environments with professionalism. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling are essential. Culinary experience or kitchen background can be advantageous for understanding food preparation standards. Strong time management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
