Job Description

Overview A Server plays a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing professional and efficient food and beverage service during events. Their primary function is to ensure that all guests feel welcomed and attended to, following event specifications and service standards. From the setup of banquet spaces to the seamless execution of meal service, they maintain an acute focus on detail and hospitality. Servers work collaboratively with kitchen and event staff to ensure the timely delivery of courses, adapt to guest needs in real time, and uphold the ambiance and quality of the event. Beyond serving, Servers contribute to the overall success of events by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the service. They reset spaces for subsequent events and ensure that all equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately. Whether it's a formal gala, a corporate event, or a wedding reception, this applies. Servers are integral in creating a positive impression of the venue and event host, embodying professionalism, efficiency, and a guest-focused attitude. This role pays an hourly rate of $12.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until November 6, 2026. Responsibilities Help set the tables. Clean and arrange work stations, chairs, and table pieces. Set up drink stations. Preset butter, salads, dressings, and desserts. Serve meals to customers or direct customers to buffets. Refill all drinks and beverages. Refill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, and condiment containers. Observe customers to find out if anything else is needed. Determine when the meal and beverages have been finished. Remove and replace table linens and service settings as required. Remove dishes and glasses from tables and take them to the kitchen or bus station. Clean server alley and event room. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants is preferred but not required. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to provide excellent friendly service to all patrons. Must be sure that all details of the job are performed and work is accurate. Must be able to multitask. Ability to handle and move objects. Must be able to lift heavy trays. Must have strong communication skills. Availability to work nights and weekends.
