Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Busser/food runner to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests. As a Busser/Food runner, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen staff and ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and dining areas are clean and well-organized. Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware and utensils, using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by cleaning countertops, floors, and equipment as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Bus tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next diners. Ensure that dining areas are clean, organized, and ready for service at all times. Support banquet services by assisting with setup and breakdown of events as required. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Skills Experience in food preparation or culinary settings is preferred but not required. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including bussing tables and cleaning protocols. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management. A proactive attitude towards cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas. Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and culinary practices.
