Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. As a key member of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food, drinks, and cocktails efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Handle all sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, managing special requests, and fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with cashiering is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food safety practices. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous for understanding food preparation and presentation standards. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest services, handle cash transactions accurately, and uphold sanitation standards.
