Job Description
The Server Assistant plays an essential role in creating a seamless dining experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and guest-ready restaurant. This position requires a proactive, dependable team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional hospitality through efficient service and strong attention to detail. This job description is intended to be a broad description of duties. You will be expected to carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Support service team with ongoing table and floor maintenance including, but not limited to, water service, resetting tables with proper tableware, refilling or inputting beverage orders, running food to appropriate tables, and check presentation.
Maintain clean, fully set, and guest-ready tables by promptly clearing, cleaning, and resetting dining areas according to restaurant standards.
Maintain sanitation standards by stocking cleaning supplies, sanitizer buckets, and clean towels throughout the shift.
Complete opening and closing duties in accordance with departmental checklists and standard operating procedures.
Stock and replenish service stations with glassware, silverware, condiments, linen, and other supplies to support efficient restaurant operations.
Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain clean back-of-house and front-of-house work areas.
Respond to any guest requests or issues by communicating with the appropriate server or manager/supervisorRecite basic knowledge about any menus, menu items, and the resort.
Reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays.
Perform additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by management at any time.
Ability to gracefully and humbly accept criticism and opportunities for growth.
Ability to stay positive, focused, and constructive when faced with set-backs, challenges and while working in an ever-changing environment.
Possess an exceptional work ethic, strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiently provides a guest experience that exceeds the guest's expectations.
Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant or guest service preferred, but not necessary.
Ambition to grow and cultivate into higher position.
Working knowledge of the fundamentals of guest service.
Ability to communicate in a positive and productive manner while on duty.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings.

Qualifications & Knowledge:
Must already have or be willing to complete the New Mexico Food Handlers Certification upon hire.Prior experience in a high-volume restaurant or guest service preferred, but not necessary.
