Job Description
Position Summary The Gambler's Run Music Festival is seeking energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Food Runners to support our food vendors and help create an exceptional experience for thousands of festival guests. Food Runners play a key role in ensuring orders are delivered accurately and efficiently while maintaining a clean, organized, and fast-paced food service environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to stay active throughout the event. Responsibilities Deliver completed food orders from vendors to designated pickup areas or guests quickly and accurately. Verify food orders before delivery to ensure accuracy. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, cashiers, and other team members. Keep food pickup stations clean, stocked, and organized. Assist vendors with restocking supplies as needed. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Help manage guest flow during peak meal periods. Provide friendly, professional customer service to festival attendees. Assist with opening, closing, and general event support duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to work all three festival days: July 23-25, 2026 Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts). Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Reliable transportation and punctual attendance. Previous food service or festival experience is a plus but not required. Schedule Must be available during festival operating hours on all three event days. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Meal and rest breaks provided according to applicable labor laws.
