Description:
Pioneer Crossing Casino in Dayton, Nevada is looking for a Food Server!
Job Summary:
The Food Server greets guests in the restaurant, accurately takes down food orders and delivers food and beverage items to assigned tables
Qualifications:
Minimum six months previous restaurant experience in a Food Server or similar position preferred. Must be professional and friendly and be able to get along with coworkers and work as a team. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Requirements:
Essential Job Functions:
Excellent customer service skills required. Takes orders from guests and accurately inputs into the system. Serves all food and beverage items in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. Ensures that the restaurant maintains excellent service standards to meet and exceed guest expectations. Ensures that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages. Clears tables during service. Refills drink orders as needed during service. Ensures that stations and table set-ups are complete and perform various side work duties as needed or assigned by Supervisor. Cleans menus and condiments; ensures condiments are full and in good condition. Maintains proper conditions and cleanliness of the dining and service areas. Quickly and accurately complete sales at the register as needed. Ensures equipment is properly cleaned and maintained. Assists other Front of House employees as needed including, but not limited to, seating tables, cashiering, bussing tables, and inputting to go orders. Adheres to all departmental, health, and safety standards. Follow all cash handling procedures, including proper drawer closing, must be familiar with operation of Point-of-Sale register. Follows instructions and standards provided by Supervisor. Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
Work Environment and ADA Requirements:
Must be able to stand for entire shift. Must be able to work in an environment with loud background noise. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis. Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, twist, crouch, squat, lift without restriction. Requires ability to grasp, write, and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
