Description Summary:
Provides beverage service to guests in prompt, courteous manner, taking steps to ensure superior level of customer satisfaction and inspire future patronage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned). Provides customer service to Pioneer Crossing guests in efficient, courteous manner, endeavoring to remember frequent players and establish personal contact in order to make guest feel comfortable and welcome. Understands and promotes the player tracking program and other casino promotions. Takes and delivers drink orders accurately from customers in casino. Ensures that customers are playing at the slot machines with minimum bet or greater prior to serving drinks. Gives drink order requests to bartender. Removes empty glasses and bottles from casino area. Empties ashtrays, cleans ashes and spills on slot machines. Complies with all Federal, state, and local laws pertaining to alcohol and safety. Reports or corrects unsafe work environment conditions immediately upon discovery to uphold safety and cleanliness in the work environment. May be asked to assist with Jackpot payouts.
Requirements Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Must be 21 years of age to be in compliance with state/governmental liquor laws. Minimum 1 year prior cocktail serving experience preferred.
Language Ability:
Must be able to communicate effectively in English language. Working knowledge of alcoholic drinks.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to represent property with a friendly, positive, helpful approach. Ability to meet company grooming, hygiene and appearance standards. Ability to interact with management, employees and guests in an efficient, effective, courteous manner.
Certificates and Licenses:
Gaming Control Board Registration Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and carry serving trays. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and move freely throughout congested areas of casino. Ability to work while being subjected to tobacco smoke and noise from casino environment. Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
