Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Your ability to upsell menu items and manage time effectively will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant. Duties Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcome. Present menus and provide detailed information on food and drink offerings. Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Process payments accurately through cash handling and cashiering procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area as well as during food preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is advantageous. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently. Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments accurately. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
