The Bistro serves up refreshing breakfast choices in the morning, and a variety of dinner, beer and wine options in the evening. The Bistro also offers specialty beverages made with Starbucks® coffee. The Hotel is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.
Responsibilities include:
Welcoming guests, taking their orders, ringing orders into the POS system, and receiving payment for the order. Preparing food, coffee, and other beverages to meet company and brand standards, including alcohol. Have a full knowledge of the entire menu. Setting up bar for service, prepare drink orders for guests, follow state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly, complete closing duties, and ensure cleanliness of bar and cooler areas. Providing assistance in Food and Beverage areas including bussing, cleaning, washing dishes and utensils. resetting tables, delivering food to guests, general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby area.
Pay range:
$15.50-$16.50 + Tips!

For the most success in this role, requirements are as follows: Previous hotel food and beverage or restaurant environment experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation is a plus. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service is necessary. Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred. Must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol.
